Ding Yi Chinese Chamber Music Festival 2024: C-Camerata x “Bows and Strings’ Dance” Erhu (Huqin) Ensemble

Embark on an immersive multicultural journey through a musical feast that blends tradition and modernity, East and West. 

The first half of the concert features the “Bows and Strings’ Dance” Erhu (Huqin) Ensemble, led by Festival Artist Yang Xue. With an array of captivating Huqin ensemble works, the programme showcases diverse styles, including northern Chinese folk music, Brazilian choro, Chinese traditional storytelling, and Western jazz, highlighting the enchanting interplay of “bows, strings, and dance”. 

In the second half, C-Camerata takes the stage. Known for their bold innovation and exploration, the ensemble fuses traditional Eastern and Western instruments, presenting modern music in a pioneering and visionary manner, promising an extraordinary musical experience.
