Ding Yi Chinese Chamber Music Festival 2024: Windpipe Chinese Music Ensemble

The opening concert of the Ding Yi Chinese Chamber Music Festival 2024 offers all an experience of an evocative evening with the celebrated Windpipe Chinese Music Ensemble from Hong Kong, as they bring their distinctive artistry to the festival. With vibrant interpretations of Cantonese music and exceptional performance artistry, this concert bridges the gap between tradition and modernity, bringing the timeless charm of Guangdong music to life.

Festival Director Tsung Yeh and Associate Festival Director Wong De Li, Dedric, will lead Ding Yi Music Company in collaboration with Festival Artist Yang Xue. Together, they will share the stage with Windpipe Chinese Music Ensemble, fostering musical exchange and camaraderie.

To further explore the roots and evolution of Chinese chamber music, the concert will also feature the Singapore Teochew Ensemble, presenting authentic Teochew music that immerses audiences in its rich cultural heritage and profound local charm.
