Ding Yi Chinese Chamber Music Festival 2024: World Reunion

Celebrate the grand finale of the Ding Yi Chinese Chamber Music Festival 2024 with World Reunion, a concert that unites distinguished ensembles from across the world in a vibrant celebration of Chinese chamber music traditions. This special performance features a unique festival ensemble composed of musicians from Ding Yi Music Company, the Windpipe Chinese Music Ensemble (Hong Kong), C-Camerata (Taiwan), “Bows and Strings’ Dance” Erhu (Huqin) Ensemble (China) and Hunix Bowed-Strings Ensemble (Malaysia).

In a spectacular finale, Festival Director Tsung Yeh will lead a combined ensemble of all participating groups in performances of “The Evolution”, composed by Cultural Medallion recipient Law Wai Lun, and “Soul of the Seven Sages”, composed by Sulwyn Lok. This transcendent musical journey bridges borders and eras, bringing the festival to a magnificent close.
